2) Our Communities of Practice (CoPs) Programme
We offer a new, innnovative and sustainable alternative that can establish and maintain outstanding in-house/ workplace training. And we do this without the need for any stressful formal training courses. Our supportive - more informal approach helps ALL trainers and learners involved flourish. It even draws in and engages trainers who are usually disengaged from professional development activities.
This programme is flexible to trainer needs, much less formal, more enjoyable and much more personalised than usual trainer development methods. This common-sense approach supports meaningful and sustainable change:
1) Initially working with a small team of your trainers we will aim to understand who your learners are, how they learn best (in and outside of the classroom), and what your trainers are really trying to achieve. We will consider this in light of how they learn best, managerial need, and any other demands (e.g. qualification frameworks).
2) Building on this understanding, we will then guide your trainers to develop and refine their practice, creating engaging and innovative sessions and training resources in process. As we work, we will aim to inspire wider (e.g. other trainer and learner) engagement, pulling others into our small team - generating increasing levels of momentum, to achieve aims.
This approach is innovative in that we deliver flexibly and informally both in and outside of the classroom; whatever seems most effective and fitting, for the trainers we're working with. There is no formal assessment, but the impact is continually guaged and feback to you. It's the process and end result that really counts.
